Bowl Me Over ~ Ram-a-lama girl had me pinned in there .. oh, yes. Ram-a-lama girls are out there I suppose. They’re like Shasti girls .. Irish gypsy temptresses. Much like those pesky Leprechauns. But nastier .. nasty Shasti. It’s like having a best friend and he’s protective of his sis. She’s deadly gorgeous and knows it. So she’s always teasing you, making you squirm ‘cause you’re nervous as hell. Always trying to avoid her .. at arm’s length. A very basic mix here on this track. It’s Boxing Day night as I type this up. Two more songs to post before 2019 rolls around. I’m excited about 2019. Okay, the twin guitar parts are scratch still. Still no acoustic guitar. And no lead fills. A few doubled vocal lines are still missing. First take on vox as well. So yeah, a truckload of work to be done on this. This song came as a challenge after writing the Fa la la song. Two long-time friends challenged me to write a song with “Ram-a-lam-a ding dong.” I’m not sure how you feel about this one .. I have their home addresses if you’d like to pursue the matter further. Aw, life’s good, keep it coming .. xoRJ
