Without You 'Round ~ Twist and turn and spiral. I think in the future if anyone asks what kind of music I play I’ll tell them I play romantic jangle pop. I’m happy to write love songs. Especially bouncy ones. Opening video shot I see? An album on a turntable .. “round and round and round ..” I swear this stuff keeps me up at night. This one got kicked off of the "parade" album. It didn't stay on the playlist very long. I began writing it in Vancouver and finished it here. Transitional. If I don’t finish a song right away it languishes. Binders full .. demos galore. It's tough to decide what to do with the castaways at times. Curios or Vault? This one’s hanging on for dear life hoping to snag one of the life vests. Oh yes. Ten little life vests. Oops, nine. Kizza Me Now’s on board for the voyage. You don’t get to work on your tan if you’re sent to the “Curios” collection. And that’s the last stop .. you are not golden, my girl .. to quote a line from another song somewhere. Here she sits... it’s Kizza or Curios .. (new breakfast cereal?)
