I got the title from an old Antichrist movie where at the end of the show, a guy says "Gabriel, blow your horn ...." I've always been fascinated by Revelations, End of Days ... the Rapture. I've read the 'Left Behind' series many times but the song wasn't written that way intentionally. Wrote it on a 12-string starting off with the main verse section which morphed into a chorus of sorts. Then the Gabriel chant kicked in. Still not convinced the passage works, but it's not guitar I hear in there anyway. Of course, eight tracks and no overdubs. I've got a nice old Framus 12-string I'd like to bring into Mainline Sound, maybe double it up and add another acoustic in Nashville tuning for starters ...
