Land's End ~ Watch the time .. tide is rushing in. And it felt exactly that way once I set up my studio. I had to be patient although I was chomping at the bit. To start roaring. Renovations came first. The Ranch is the first home I’ve ever completely owned. Mortgage? Never again .. no, sorry, not for this goat. Work on the ranch during the day and writing songs at night. Singing to cardboard boxes. Lots of them. I smile now, a year and a half in. The first one written in my new home. So, it’s special in that way. Miss my ocean. My van full of guitars and seeing the “Welcome To Vancouver” sign in the rearview mirror. But here I am and here is my life. There's a bit of contentment for me these days sitting on my back deck and watching the sun fade over the hill. But music's just inside the door. Bang your drum. Indeed. "Someone slipped your face into my dream .. there's probably a muse in the house .. in a very happy, singing house. There’s an i-pad shot video of this song on my youtube channel. Homage paid to the muse. And thanks to the Universe for the ranch .. xoRJ
